Event Details

Tales & Trails combines the magic of storytime with the wonders of nature. Partnering with the County Naturalist, we’ll read together, explore local trails, create nature-inspired crafts, and discover the plants and animals that share our world.

Location: 124 Lady's Island Drive, Beaufort, SC

Activities: Wildlife Viewing, Fishing, Hiking
Amenities: Parking, Restrooms, Fishing Pier, Boardwalk, Primitive Trail, Pollinator Garden     

Trail: 0.5 mile loop trail (half boardwalk/half earthen) around the lake
Restrictions: Pets on leash, Bicycles are not permitted on trail, Water activities are not permitted

Please park in the parking lot and meet at the picnic tables under the pavilion. Bathrooms and drinking water available on site.
